Designing for Durability

ADA signage is prone to all sorts of weather and other forms of wear and tear. ADA signage, then, demands materials that will not fade, chip, peel, delaminate or crack. LK recommends sticking to high-impact plastics, metal letters and one-piece signs in these environments. One-piece signs are just as their name suggests­ signs made from one piece of material so that vandals cannot remove letters. “THERMOFORMED”

Since our signs are custom made, we can make them out of whatever material is needed for the project. Majority of the signs we produce are made of plastic (including acrylic and PVC), metal (including stainless steel and aluminum), wood, foam and high-density plastics.
